Day 1 ARRIVAL MEDAN – BUKITLAWANG
Drive westward passing by landscape with vast view of palm oil and rubber plantation to Bukit Lawang, the Orang Utan rehabilitation centre located in Gunung Leuser Park. En-route stops at of rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape. Arrive in Bukit Lawang check in to hotel Rindu Alam or Ecolodge Bukit Lawang Cottages or similar.
Day 2 BUKITLAWANG VISIT THE ORANG UTANS FEEDING (B)
Morning, visit the feeding platform to see the Orang Utan while being fed and prepared for release back into their natural habitat. After that you continue trekking for 3 hours to explore the park. Steep, slopes and dense vegetation will bring you the excitement of the rainforest.
Remarks:
Those who bring camera/video in the Orangutan site will be charged additional Rp 50,000 for camera and Rp150, 000 for video.
Day 3 BUKITLAWANG – MEDAN AIRPORT (B)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel. Then drive back to Medan for your onward flight and next destination. Tour Ends.
